CWD Agency ultimate focus is to advocate for, and to provide the relevant supportive/supervision services in order for those individuals with intellectual disabilities; developmental disabilities, as well as, behavioral challenged individuals to continue a normalize living and community participation.

General Services include:

Personal Care Services

CWD Agency offers supportive/supervision services to assist with personal care based on the individual’s specific needs. These services are often provided at the individual’s home by a caregiver who provides assistance to care for day to day living, such as washing, dressing, and helping with other personal needs. Our consumers can expect us to provide services needed to ensure a normalized living and community participation. Our goal is to offer ultimate comfort and safety to our consumers. We will also assist with getting out of bed, transferring from bed to wheelchair, grooming, trimming nails, shaving, using the bathroom, and taking a bath.

Companionship and support

We offer personal in-home care and companionship for individuals with developmental disabilities. The aging individuals, those individual who need support while they are recovering from injuries will be provided companionship as needed. Our staff will build rapport, interact appropriately, listen actively, and help in defining personal preferences. Our clients' complete satisfaction is our first priority, and we are dedicated to delivering peace of mind through caring and compassionate services.

Light Housekeeping

Our consumers can expect our caregivers to run any errands including but not limited to grocery and clothes shopping. Consumers are offered assistance by our caregivers to prepare their grocery lists according to the client's wishes and needs.

Errands and Homemaker

Our consumers can expect our caregivers to run any errand including but not limited to grocery and clothes shopping. Consumers are offered assistance by our caregivers to prepare their grocery lists according to the client's wants and needs.

Meal preparation

Our staff is able to satisfactory prepare and/or assist with preparation of meals that the consumer needs with their instructions.

Medication administration

Our medication certified staff will be able to administer prescribed medication to consumers.

Non-Medical/HPC Transportation

We provide transportation to and from adult day support, vocational habilitation, supported employment and various destinations in the community. Transportation is also provided to individuals in Supportive Employment seven days a week if applicable. In addition, we offer transportation services to enable individuals to gain access to community activities and resources. Our consumers’ safety and comfort of are a top priority of the caregivers. Our drivers are trained to provide effective service to our clients. We provide door-to-door transportation to health care appointments and clinical patient tests. Drivers are trained to be safety conscious for their protection and for the protection of the clients they transport.

Respite care

We provide short-term, temporary relief to those who are caring for family members who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside their home. The type of respite care provided depends on the needs of the individual. The frequency and duration of services depends on the needs of the client/consumer.

Money Management Services

CWD Agency provides service to assist clients with income and expenses. We offer a system to accurately manage the consumer’s money.

Home safety services

CWD Agency provider will educate/teach clients on general home safety tips such as avoiding cooking fires, candles and fire safety, preventing dog bites, electrical hazards, electrical outlet dangers, garage door injuries, and mini blind cords to ensure safety of the client at home.
